The Big Bang Theory star Jim Parsons is doing some serious method acting for his return to Broadway in Harvey. In this week’s issue of Time Out New York, the Emmy-winning actor and Broadway vet (The Normal Heart) hung out with some adorable bunnies while gearing up to star as Elwood P. Dowd in Roundabout Theatre Company's forthcoming revival at Studio 54. But the “fascinating” story of Harvey is about more than imaginary rabbits, Parsons tells Time Out New York. “It’s a sweet, human tale and there are several lessons to be taken from it.” Check out photographer Celeste Canino's photos of Parsons getting snuggly with his furry companions, then see him befriend a six-foot tall imaginary rabbit in Harvey beginning May 18.
